Project Data Services

To fully realize the value of Building Information Modeling (BIM), asset elements must go beyond being just 3D representations. Too often, BIM models are developed without embedded asset data, limiting their usefulness throughout the asset’s lifecycle.

We provide services to programmatically enrich existing models with automatically populated asset and model data. This embedded information is essential for supporting both current operations and future technologies, ensuring that your project models remain valuable well beyond completion.

Not all critical project data resides within BIM or CAD elements. With the widespread use of platforms like SharePoint and ProjectWise—managing trackers, schedules, material lists, and GIS data—integrating this information across Excel, Power BI, MicroStation, iTwin, or other external platforms is easily achievable through API-driven solutions.

RiskTec Risk/BIM Interface

Development of geospatially data embedded risk based icons, driven by a project Excel schedule. This supported IDC/R to design out or manage identified risks.

Siemens MADE Signalling DNA/BIM Interface

Development of a library of data-embedded CAD cells/elements enables the creation of a hierarchical data model. The MADE system scans these elements and constructs a relational data model, accurately calculating true pathway distances—an essential requirement for the successful delivery of ETCS (European Train Control System).

SPL Feature Model Data Extraction

Custom Code Driven CAD Elements

Many CAD and asset elements within the railway corridor are repetitive in nature but vary in geometry and configuration. Creating a unique cell library for every instance is impractical. Digitality Solutions addresses this challenge by generating code-driven 3D assets, ensuring that only compliant elements are produced.

Additionally, these assets are embedded with rich data that supports the asset lifecycle well beyond AFC (Approval for Construction), including supplier information, PADs references, and maintenance schedules.
