ExVol has been developed to work within conventional BIM model structure employed on Network Rail projects. Exclusion Volumes can be created early in the project lifecycle, using Network Rail's GeoRINM model data, ensuring suppliers work around the derived exclusion volumes.

This ensures clashes/obscurations are not discovered during Signal sighting committee meetings, derisking the probability of delay of gaining approvals.
